Microsoft、Haloシリーズ最新章3Dシューティング・ゲーム「Halo: Spartan Strike」iOS版をリリース！

Microsoftは、「Halo」シリーズの新章となる3Dシューティング・ゲーム「Halo: Spartan Strike」のiOS版をリリースしました。同時に、Windows PC（Windows 8/Windows 8.1）向け（600円）やWindows 7にも対応したSteam版（598円）もリリースされました。iOS版は720円で、前作「Halo: Spartan Assault」とのバンドルパック「Halo: Spartan Bundle」は1,200円。

「Halo: Spartan Strike」は、2013年12月にリリースされた「Halo: Spartan Assult」の流れを汲んだクォータビュー視点のシューティングゲーム。「Halo 2」と同時代の世界を描き、30のミッションをフィーチャー。

2552年の「ニューモンバサの戦い」からミッションはスタートし、プレイヤーは、スパルタンとしてUNSCの部隊を率いてプロメシアンやコヴナントの地球侵攻を阻止するというもの。さまざまな武器やアビリティ、そしてワートホグなどHaloシリーズでお馴染みのワートホグやスコーピオンといった戦闘車両を駆使して、全30のミッションに挑む。
